V/A: Heures Sans Soleil

Here's a great comp nugget I totally forgot about. Back in 1985 I HAD TO HAVE this when I saw it at Bleeker Bobs. It was hyped up real good at the shop, and did not dissapoint!! I got some good vinyl LP's, 12" and 7" there , but as soon as the drug paraphernalia came in in the late 80's it was bad news ever since.

A great comp with weird experimental soundscapes, jittery No Wave goodness, sweet indie pop, and dreary synth masterpieces.

Rare & exclusive archive recordings from the artists (1981-1984).

You know these artists..

Section 25 An Introduction
Clock DVA The Discussion
Minny Pops She Said Go Go Go
Tuxedomoon Shelved Dreams
Mazowsze The Little Candle End
Eric Random 6:55
Dislocation Dance The Next Year I Returned To St. Michelle (But Marie Had Gone And With Her My Childhood)
The Happy Family March In Turin
Section 25 Hold Me
Crispy Ambulance Rain Without Clouds
A Primary Industry From This Prospect

Released in an edition of 1000 copies.

Ripped from glorious vinyl here for you .

I used to frequent Bleecker Bob's in the late 80s myself. Wonder if we ever bumped shoulders?
