Neither god nor master> The Belgian group is colorful as funny and mysterious. With versions of revisited The P'tite Gayol "or" Mary Clap'sabots "is all over Wallonia who took a solid smack in the middle of the eighties. As evidence, there are two 45s and a 33 rpm called "185 million Francophones and me and me and me". Even Georges Brassens had the honor of being cooked in the sauce Hublot! Jeff Bodart is stuck in it for "Bad Reputation" but this new home will delirium - incomprehensibly - cold ...
From Vitor Hublot, a bit of everything ... Throughout these years, we find the music and sometimes singing Guy Clerbois Braine l'Alleud (whose original business was a stonemason) ... who, whenever he could, put the sub side to go register a disc in the studios of the Martin brothers. Around him, a clique of musicians or singers who come and go: Mimi Crofilm, and Françoise Chantal Talbot, Renaud Janson, Eric Adam, Marc Van Eyck, Jean-Luc Fonck, Mondelaers Thierry, Jean-Louis Sbille (Cargo de Nuit on the RTB) and Pierre Vervloesem. A new version of "The P'tite Gayol" released in 2009 and a remastered reissue of the album "185 million" accompanied by two titles in his first 45 rpm max. Other projects of remixes and new songs rehabilitation are underway!
I've been looking for this Lp for a while and FINALLY we meet!
It's as if Jerry Lewis joined DEVO and became part of the French electronic Wave scene in the early 80's!!

Space Art is a French band that was formed by two friends in Paris in 1977. The group consisted of Dominique Perrier on keyboards and Roger Rizzitelli on drums. Their first (self-titled) of three albums was released in the same year as Jean-Michel Jarre’s, “Oxygene.” Knowledgeable Jarre fans will recognize the names, because both went along on the 1981 China tour...

Deo was a Synth Wave band from Oberhausen Germany. Their album with the same title was released in summer of '81.12 wonderful, fresh, cool and punk-like songs with monotnous vocals, keyboards and strange sound effects. The band counts as an uncommon group from the German new wave period, their music is close to Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle and Fehlfarben. It is a wonderful mixture that makes you dance and dream. This made Deo the most sophisticated punkavantgarde band.Their funny texts and usage were impressive indeed.Their producer was the famous Klaus Schulze from Tangerine Dream and from Innovative Communication ,who is is one of the pioneers of electronic music. - http://www.ichwillspass.de
Not too much info on this recently purchased Disco nugget..
The masterminds behind this record are Canadian producers/musicians Dominic Sciscente and Michel Daigle from Black Light Orchestra, who, when not hustling their way through space, had a hit song with Touch Me, Take Me.
Part MECO, part Cerrone and all amazingly ridiculous!

Melodic synth music somewhat similar to Space and Jean-Michel Jarre circa 76-78. The back cover says that the music was recorded by Frank Martin-Solf in Hamburg, Germany. However, Frederic Mirage could also be a pseudonym of Bernard Estardy, as some tracks on this album were apparently taken from Universal Energy's album.
Parade Ground were pioneers in EBM and Coldwave (hi Craig),the band consisting of Belgian brothers Pierre and Jean-Marc Pauly.
In 1983 they released their debut EP Moans on the Sly on the New Dance Label. This began their on-going collaboration with producer Daniel B, a member of the seminal Front 242.
The following year they released Man in a Trance (which I don't have..HELP!!) on Front 242's label Mask including the pulsating track The Net. Continuing with more EPs they released 'Dual Perspective', one side produced by Daniel B, the other side produced by Colin Newman of Wire, then came Strange World 12", title-song that was included on the definitive compilation album This is Electronic Body Music in 1987, giving way to their first full length album, entitled Cut Up (1988), followed by a tour in Germany and Sweden . In 1993 , the brothers wrote and composed the vocals on two Front 242 albums 'Up evil' and 'Off'. Original extreme noise industrial sound without concessions...

Judy Nylon is an American artist who moved to London in the very early 1970s. She was half of the punk act called Snatch, which also featured Patti Palladin. Only those who lived in New York and London during the era that spanned glam and punk are likely to appreciate her importance, most of which isn't preserved in print, vinyl, or CD. In terms of cultural significance, she has been ranked with Patti Smith, The Raincoats, Chrissie Hynde, of The Pretenders, The Slits, Lydia Lunch, Siouxsie Sioux of Siouxsie & the Banshees and even Nico. Her Pal Judy record was released in 1982 and has been described as "a classic rainy day bit of sound and song to drift away to"[who?]. It was co-produced by Judy Nylon and Adrian Sherwood of On-U Sound and Tackhead. She is the Judy in Brian Eno's Back In Judy's Jungle[citation needed]. Nylon is responsible for inspiring the Eno version of ambient music[citation needed] (the back cover of his Discreet Music contains his version of how this happened). - Wikipedia®
"Robotwerke, aka Dieter Kolb and Franz Aumüller, were one of the first groups to experiment with electronic music in the mid-60s, inventing some of the first self-made drum machines. Look HERE Their fans include such luminaries as Herbie Hancock, Afrika Bambaataa, Sven Vath and Kraftwerk. Since the 60's they had allowed themselves to become more and more inspired by the Caribbean sounds of steeldrum and Soca, and developed their own brand of Soca influenced funky disco electro. Also look out for Supersempfft.. even more of the same dudes with guests doing that Calypso synth thang! I just might post that up soon.

Wolfgang Riechmann started his musical career in 1966. After playing in a school band with Michael Rother and Wolfgang Flür, later famous with Kraftwerk and Neu, he then became member of an other Düsseldorf (Germany) located band called "Streetmark" . It was end of 1977 when Riechmann started working on his solo career. The result was the LP "Wunderbar" which was released on SKY Records. Unfortunately he did not experience the release. Riechmann was killed - without any reason - by two drunk guys, who stabbed him to death...

They recorded from 1981 to 1985 and issued three incredibly rare demo tapes. “A Better Spider” compiles the best tracks from those tapes, bringing you some of the best electropop/electrowave music ever coming out of Italy. If you like flexipop style sounds with from time to time some moody synth tunes in between this is for you...
Marzio Vincenzi lead and background vocalist originary from Bologna, Italy. Always fascinated by disco music, Marzio Vincenzi, convinced his friend Mauro Malavasi to produce, in 1978, his first record "I'm A Man". The title track, a remake of a Steve Winwoood's piece, had an immediate, favorable outcome. Subsequently, with the advent of what is identified by many like 'rosco music', an hybrid between rock and disco, Macho succeeded to place, in 1980, the album "Roll", containing pieces like "Mother Love (Mama Mia)" and "You Got Me Running", beyond "Roll" itself. |Discogs|
Come get some ulta sleezy overly kitchy rockin Rosco masterpieces..

Snowy Red was the one-man electronic band of the former Chainsaw guitarist, Micky Mike. With the "Vision" LP and some tracks on the "The Beat Is Over" LP, Snowy Red was, for a brief moment only, a band. After the Belgian New Beat boom, Snowy Red called it quits and Micky Mike disappeared, only for the band to resurface again in 2004 as a duo (with a guitarist) at the Belgian Independent Music festival.
He gave us the classic synth jam Euroshima.
