Ashra

Beginning as Ash Ra Tempel, later Ashra, then solo as Manuel Göttsching was part of some of the most notable German groups of the 1970s and 80s, as well as a solo artist, he is one of the most important guitarists of the Kosmische Musik genre. He also participated in the Cosmic Jokers (Dieter Dierks, Gille Lettmann, Harald Grosskopf, Jürgen Dollase, Klaus Schulze) sessions. His style and technique influenced dozens of artists in the post-Eno ambient and New Age scenes in the 1980s and 1990s. His 1984 album E2-E4 has also been influential in the development of house and electronic music in general, a classic in beautifully orchestrated Minimal Synth.

Thank you!

I love this blog.

I was wondering if you had any Dieter Schütz LPs. Preferably, "Voyage" - "DAwn" - or maybe "TransVision" - although I don't know if that last one really exists.

Anyway, keep the glimmerlight burning!

Hi,

you can find Dieter Schütz' "Voyage" LP on my blog here:

I am desperately looking for "The Comet" and "Dawn", if anybody can share them...
