I came across the first album on a blog a few months ago and it just blew me away in its absolute derangement and ability to jump genres in a mirco-second. Its hard to believe it was recorded in 1982 and it is even harder to believe that the track "Why Can Bodies Fly" was a hit in Germany!
According to Discogs the song was a "One-Hit-Wonder" taken from the episode called "Peggy Hat Angst" from the German TV-Series "Tatort"!
Never heard of the TV series but it does feature on a couple of compilations and there is a video of the track on Youtube that is equally deranged! The track has been mixed differently and sounds slightly more 'commercial' than the album version (if anyone comes across the single version could they post it here)...Anyway, get ready for freakydeaky mutated Darth Vaders and a trio of mannequins:

Now ask yourself what type of TV series would a song like that feature in and secondly who thought it would make a hit single and thirdly, marvel at the fact it was a hit in Germany in 1982!
When I was first really getting into music back in the early 80s here in the UK, there was a brief period when German bands were "in" which was good for me as I went and saw bands like Malaria! & E.Neubauten and to be honest I am astonished "The Warning" did not come to UK press attention...I think they were to "out there" and definately ahead of the curve sonically speaking in the mix up of styles.
And now I discover they did another album.....joy joy joy!
